Meets every six weeks on a Wednesday evening in the Village Hall. This is a lively group, reading a broad range of books, topical not intellectual. Reading is much more fun with a glass of wine! Bookmark's calendar for 2015 and reviews available here.

Cheverell Men's Skittles League

I have been running an adult crèche, more commonly known as Cheverell Men's Skittles, one night a week for some time now. This enables some of the ladies an evening off (we're all heart). So, once a week on Wednesday nights through the winter months we become part of Devizes and District Skittles League. We are currently based at the George & Dragon in Potterne. The team has been running since the year dot and I have been running the team for the last 20 years.

We are a light hearted team, that doesn't take the game too seriously. We have a fun night out, perhaps taking the mick out of each other, nothing too serious; it just lightens up the evening.

If you would like a Wednesday night out or you would like to get rid of your better half once a week - how about joining the men's skittles team? We're always looking for new members.
