Great Cheverell is a vibrant village with lots going on for all age groups. The newly built properties have brought in younger families which help to support the school and clubs for youngsters. Whatever your interest, there is likely to be a club or group of like-minded people in this or the next village.

This is a lively group for anyone intrerested in gardening or needs some help or advice. This is a club where villagers meet for a chat, friendship and tea. Clubs for Youngsters

The Badgers - Worton & Cheverell FC Covering all ages from Year 1 at Primary School. The club is affiliated with the FA and has 180 members. Girls can play up to age 10 but FA rules dictate they then need to transfer to a girls-only team. There is a girls team in West Lavington. Village Facilities

Council Playground
The council has established a playground adjoining the new Pavilion. This was an extremely costly project which we were able to complete thanks to obtaining various grants.

There are facilities for young children but also adventurous equipment for teens and a trim trail for adults.

The playground is inspected monthly but if you notice a problem, please notify the Parish Clerk immediately.
