There are two halls in Great Cheverell, the Village Hall (formerly the Parish Rooms) and the New Pavilion. Both can be hired but are suitable for different events.
Village Hall
The village Hall is reached by a flight of steps, so it is not wheelchair accessible. It has one main room, a kitchenette (with a counter facing the hall) and lavatory. The main area is quite small and is suitable for small groups and meetings (up to 40). It is very private, cosy and nicely decorated.
It can be hired for small events, meetings and parties. If you are planning a childrens' party, please note that bookings are only accepted for children up to the age of 10.

The New Pavilion
The New Pavilion is managed by a Charitable Trust on behalf of the community of Great Cheverell. The Trustees have been elected from within the community to serve an agreed period of office, and will represent both residents and regular users of the hall.
This has is a new facility and is far bigger than the Village Hall. It has one main hall, a small meeting room or office and a fully equipped, catering kitchen. There are male and female changing facilities and showers. It is surrounded by green space, which contain recreational facilities.
This is suitable for meetings, clubs, parties, weddings and other village events and is now open for bookings. The Pavilion holds a premises licence, but this does not permit the sale of alcohol. A Temporary Events Notice would be needed to do this.
There are tables, chairs and crockery, but glasses will need to be hired.
